Our History
Andrew Osinchuk, the owner of The Accounting Agency, purchased the firm Burns and Company Chartered Professional Accountant in 2021 from Jane Burns. In 2024, the firm was rebranded to The Accounting Agency. Andrew is a CPA and worked as an accountant with MNP and McClelland Debusschere Chartered Professional Accountants.

In the winters Andrew can be found racing from rink to rink with his two children, Ryder and Evelyn where he takes on an active role coaching their teams. He also likes to spend time with his wife, Stephanie hiking and exploring the natural beauty that the island offers.
Samantha Potts is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over a decade of experience helping clients in public practice, focusing on personal and corporate income tax, compliance and assurance engagements. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time relaxing with family.

Emily Arden is dedicated manager who earned her CPA designation in 2023. Her passion for taxation and trusts has her currently pursuing a STEP Canada Diploma in Trusts and Estates. At The Accounting Agency, Emily focuses on Financial Statement Preparation, Canadian Trusts and Personal Tax matters. Outside of work, she enjoys playing roller derby and traveling the world.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her partner, cats, and friends, and is always on the lookout for new places to explore.
Mandee Giffen plays a key role in supporting daily operations at The Accounting Agency. With her knack for organization and proactive mindset, she ensures everything operates seamlessly and clients get top-notch support. When she's not at work, Mandee can be found diving into creative projects, or on a tennis court.
